BAF speaker Gary Connery doubles as Queen in Olympics Opening Ceremony
(July 30, 2012)Buxton Adventure Festival Director Matt Heason did a double take on Saturday night watching the Olympics Opening Ceremony with his family.
With the world saying: "It's not her, she hasn't, has she?", Matt was going "It's not him is it?"
Gary told Sky News: "I think this one is probably unsurpassable. It will hang in my memory until I become senile and can't remember it any more. What an occasion, what a thing to be involved in, absolutely stunning."
Suffice to say, the BAF team are very chuffed that our headline Saturday night speaker Gary Connery will be able to tell you all about it himself in person on 20th October at 8pm.
